Jacob Ruytenbeek

Executive Producer

Jacob is the Founder and CEO of SailPlan. He has over a decade of experience commercializing emerging technology across multiple domains including space, aviation, and maritime.Jacob served in key roles at the United States Air Force, Raytheon, and AirMap before founding SailPlan in 2020. As a passionate freediver, SCUBA diver, and a Fort Lauderdale native, Jacob is leading the charge to create a cleaner, more efficient marine industry by leveraging realtime high-resolution ship data and machine learning to reduce fuel consumption and associated emissions.

Rachel Elliott

Executive Producer

Rachel is the VP of Operations at SailPlan. She started her career in the fintech space working on supply chain and workforce development innovations. She brings modern expertises to the BlueEconomy industry from her experience working with leading industries embracing data for critical decision making across organizations. Rachel grew up on the east coast spending her summers by the water in Charleston, SC. She is passionate about the outdoors and helping to build a community of sustainable thought leaders.
